well well...
HIYA GUYS!!!!!!!!!

man it's been hell of a lllloooooooonnnnggggggg time since i last post my thoughts? *dun get caught for not using my brain!*

1/2 year now? few key points i must say, now u guys better listen!
(these are turning points in my life alright?)

*feb - while i'm in singapore, i temasek polytechnic caught my attention and i was SET on going to the school

*feb/mar - enrolled myself into a manga school (japanese comic = manga, read as mang`a) it's a 3months course for each skill level. my teacher is the forever happy Michiko sensei ^_^ she's like the sunshine on a cloudy day... a har... that's right...

*apr - realised that temasek polytechnic don't accept foreign talents in to their design school... wad a jerk :( now i've to start searching for another school...

*may - done with level 1 of my manga school! and earned a month holiday :)

*may/jun - while i'm bored, i decided to spend some more of my parent's hard earned money... yep and i spend it good! this time i found this training course in SWI (Sekolah Web Indonesia = indonesian school of web design) well supposedly it's Informatics Computer School, but for some odd reason, they've seperated... but well heck that. So i paid the huge sum of money, and get myself into CGD course (certificate of graphic design course) it'll stretch as long as 4 MONTHS! KEWL!!!

*jun - been online like nuts, but of course, UNINTERRUPTED! finding high and low for a school that i can get my diploma/adv diploma/degree or whatever available, come on, i can't just hang around all day right?

*jun - manga school commence... back to the manga world~~

*jul - found Raffles La Salle International College... seems cool... maybe i can get to that school... I checked out their "portfolio" to see how good they are... and oh well... i'll work twice, or maybe trice as hard to be as good as them or better.. a har...

*jul - juz got my legalization of my paperwork for the school's application, and i'm workin freaking hard to prepare a portfolio!

a har.. those are some REALLY good turning points in my life this year... that's as much as it is today.. sorry to make u guys feel abandoned :( i really really didn't mean that to happen... so i'll start updating again... and thãnks a whole bunch for the support ^_^

"home" at last

i'm in singapore finally... life without computer isn't too bad after all..
i stay in the swissotel for the first 2 nights... it was VERY good...
and today, the 3rd day, i moved to a small apartment in novena, it's just 5 mins walk from the mrt!
i don't like the apartment though... it's too small.... and freaky!
but what do you expect from a cheap apartment right?

Singapore Here I Come

hey singapore! i'll come tonight!
i got a tix and a place to stay..
will be flying to singapore on Air France, flight 257 (will reach singapore around... 10pm i guess..)

my first 2 nights will be spent in westin hotel... will have 2 buddies crashing over... hansen and mark! haha hell yeah!
since i'm staying in a double bed... i'll get 2 compliment b'fast each day... not bad eh?

the 3rd day i'll get my booty out of westin hotel, and head for novena, and stay in a service apartment there...
will be staying til jan29...
hope i have enough time to do everything and meet everyone!~

Busy Life

life's been pretty buzy past week... ever since my elder sister's boyfriend came...
everyday's been pretty much living hell...
there's so many things to do... and we have to wake up early... go out... and come home late at night..
but i always have to put a smile on my face.. :)
cuz if i don't, i'll be considered rude to the boyfriend right?

Must See

I was browsing around for some piano music sheets... and came across this site...

he's 3 years older then i am... but looking from his website... it seems that he've accomplished so much...
he's talented, and he made good use of it... i really admire those type of people.

i guess if i would work a couple times harder then i am now... i might just be like him!
1. practice MUCH HARDER playing my piano... i might not be able to "re-arrange" or "compose" any song... so i'll just play it first...
2. begin with the end in mind (know your goal before start doing anything...)

went to take the driver's license picture today...
it was pretty horrible i tell you...
everybody was smoking, the queue was long, the weather was unbearably hot and humid... too much..
and guess what? the main computer system went dead... all the applicants' data were gone...
too much isn't it? so i waited and queued there all for NOTHING! darn those ppl...

guess i'll have to do it some other day...

Digital Camera

the battery of my digi cam went dead...
time to buy new ones... my digicam is the Fuji-Finepix series...
it uses double A battery.. 4 of em... and after taking about 100pic, the battery will be drained..
isn't it costly!?
so what i thought is to get myself a couple of RECHARGEABLE BATTERY... so i can RE-USE (yes it's one of the R on how to make a world a better place) the batt.

Tummy Ache

had a servere tummy ache today... well it started 2 days back.. but it wasn't anything serious..
then yesterday.. it starts kickin in... like... a sudden jab on the tummy? ugh, that hurts...
and i think the foods i ate wasn't helping at all... more fried stuff.. all the MSGs...

i was reading my friend mona's diary... umm
mona, if you're reading this... listen carefully....

well i'm sorry that i only called once.. well 2x but you picked up once... whenever i talk to you, it feels as if there's a communication barrier...

i speaks in english to you, and you replied in indonesian... i tried speaking in indonesian... and it's very hard for me to get my point accross,

i think it'll be really good if you replied in english too? (you should know that my indonesian is worn off already right?)

and seriously, sometimes i /do/ feel intimidated... i somehow have this feeling that you don't feel like talking to me...

maybe i talked a whole bunch... and you don't really understand... or is it because of my werid slang...umm or is it me catching you at a bad time?

Mellow Drama

Telenovela, mellow drama.. it's all the same thing...
my mom just bought the complete video-cd set of Meteor Garden1&2 i think the craze is till going on with meteor garden and f4... the comic /is/ pretty good.. but i never thought the minute f4 plays it, all the girls, even my maid starts to go crazy for them... i mean, they don't speak a single word of chinese, yet they can memorize say.. 3 or 4 of f4's song... is that GOOD or what...
anyway, in the meteor garden2 (which i'm apprently watching) one of the main lead, the guy "dao ming si" got into a car accident and had a memory loss, while "ye sha" got some sort of cancer, causing her temporary blindness, she couldn't walk too!

she also have this 3 Korean mellow-drama dubbed in mandarin... "winter sonata"
the guy got hit by a truck, and have this memory loss... and goes blind...

and "endless love"
the main lead, she unfortunately got a case of leukemia

and "Glass Shoe" or "bo li xie"
i watched a little bit of this too... so the lead actress, she got into a car accident at 9yr old and got a memory loss, as she became an adult, she happens to get cancer. her real dad also have cancer by the way...

that's as much as i have done my survey... (pardon me if i'm wrong....)
i have concluded that.. they do have alot of car accidents...cancers... isn't it all the same plot? isn't it time for a change? HELLO??
guess i'll stick to anime... definately, japanese anime... more crazy, more fun, and ... it's soooooo me!

i couldn't believe it... but YES my nightmare is true...
my sister beat me in tekken tag... but how could that be!!!!!!

Feelin' Sick

i finally got the guts to message her...

my heart was pounding like mad okay... but it turned out that, she's quite friendly... and we chatted the whole day today...

Match Making

my sis... as usual, trying to match make her friend with some "internet friend" of hers... for some what reason, i just couldn't trust her "internet" guy-friends...
they're either VERY horrible... or VERY lame... or both...
say.. today, she met this guy name "Ronald", he's 27, i think he's pretty cool... look wise was exectly like what i expected... he looks really "old" if you know what i mean...
it was sad seeing that, this guy didn't actually clean shave his moustache... (and it didn't seem like he's been trimming it nicely... it's just messy... you know, with some parts growing more then others?)
we're suppose to meet at 1, but he came 20mins late.. not a good thing to do on a match-making date...
the day went by really slow... horrible date..

Dance Class

thanks to my dear mom, now all her friends are forcing me to go to dance classes with them...
i'm a guy who have 2 left feet... and you expect me to dance.. a little werid isn't it?
but fine, i'll be a good boy and listen...
since i am getting the "opportunity" i'll use it wisely to gain a new skill in life..

Fun Mom

been a day... since... yesterday...

Dinner Surprise

went out on for dinner today...
it was my mom's friend's (well actually a relative, but it is very complicated to explain, so i'll just put it "friend") birthday.. she's like 64? and still very lively... good sign isn't it? unlike me.. only 17 and 1/2 dead already... *sigh*
my mom's friend is all around 50+ and they're all crazy about their child's love life... and i thought my mom is kidding.. but she seems pretty serious too... introducing me to a couple of girls my age... pretty interesting scene at a dinner party.
today there is one that she introduces...

she got long hair! ( >_< i used to think girls with short hair are the bomb... but guess what, long hair's not bad too)
oh great.. she's rich too... (the dad used to be in a music band... now the mom n dad opens paper factory... : official sources)
not materialistic... (very good very good :] rich but not materialistic.. )
bad sleeping habits (just like me... so i don't mind... those type of ppl that wake up in mid noon n say "good morning") (but on the side note, i sleep pretty well too...)
sms fever... (i don't really mind too... kids nowadays, everybody's into SMS and their tiny lil cute cell phones...)
eat a whole lot... (while having dinner, i noticed that she took at least a couple of serving for each dish that appears on the table.. i can say she eats more then me..., for today at least)

yeah i guess that's all i know for now... she's really good... i don't even think i deserve her haha :)
but it'll be great if we can get to know each other more :)

recently, there's been quite alot of things goin thru my head.. but unable to process it properly...

1. cuz of the hot weather here in jakarta.... my main brain processor is over heated... current status : seriously injured
2. cuz of flu and cough... can't breathe n sleep properly..
3. over eating... can't breathe, i need to lie down to be able to breathe again.. horrible isn't it

will try to update as soon as possible...

4. the 56k modem is slowing me down alot...
5. computer is fairly crappy... 57% free resources when it's just restarted... yeah, 43% of the system resource have gone to who knows where...

By the way, i had transit in singapore just now ^__^ it was 11.45am singapore time, but there was a delay, so i reached there at 12+ noon. Lydia n pris came to meet me... (BUT ERICA WAS LATE...) hehe :P it was quite a surprise even though we planned it...
Lydia especially...she seems to have changed alot.. but at the sametime... still so much herself... hmm... must be the make up? or what? i don't know, lyddie look so prettie~ haha, hmm.. =^_^=
pris just came back from aussie, she just finished trinity college... hehe seems to have grown up, the last time met her, she still had her hair tied up, and looks really.. studious? but just now she looks totally, RELAXED... let her hair down, smile big as usual, and very casual clothings ^_^ beautiful life isn't it...
ERICA .. erica erica.. haha ^_^ she is whom i called "ah ma" hehee she is so cute when she starts nagging. .. haha~ she is very thin though... didn't seem to grow much since the last time i see her... why don't you try eating more ric? you know, like 6meals a day or something.. hehe :P

well oh well, we had fun chillin n chatting about life, catch up on things, and talk about old times! haha >_<
yep then at 4pm i left singapore n head to indonesia... :)
that's basically where the story ends... pretty much, i'll tell u abt the indonesia n los angeles part tomorrow...

i updated a couple of stuff..
this is what i updated!!

-my blog will ONLY show 2 days worth of blog, the rest will be in the "archives" hence the name...

-i changed the color of the title "Home Grown Thoughts" into #CCFFCC, which is, babish green color...

-at the right panel, i added my on/off line status, so far i can only find the yahoo messanger one, i'll try with the MSN and ICQ one... later maybe..

-last but not least, at the bottom right of my page, there's a small button that will allow you to check the statistic of my website, stuff like "WHO visits" and "where they from" hehe... so u ppl better visit okay, cuz I KNOW, i will know if u don't.. wHHAHAHA *evil laughter* aherm... yeah, so check it out :)

say, today for children's literature class, it was preeeeety fun!!!
i did my presentation on "childhood" well, i'm not too much of an adult anyway, so i did one on "JUGGLING" :)
i did some juggling act for the class.. wasn't too perfect, but quite presentable ^_^ horray~

then actually i brought some pictures n short movie clips of juggling, but the stupid school's computer wouldn't read my zip disk.. *stupid computer*
so in the end, i only did my juggling act, no movie for the class~ sigh~ BUT! since i do my work, i insist on showing the film :P cuz u have to let the love of juggling spread~~~ i'm gonna burn it into a cd and show it next week~

i want to make the class go "woow!" ^_^ cuz juggling is the bomb! haha :P

ok, i'm gonna start to double or triple the speed from today, i've prepared the following things :

-apple juice
-french bread
-juggling balls

food so that i'll never go hungry, juice so .. oh well i just like it anyway, french bread, it goes well with anything, i got alot of jams.. so yum! then juggling balls, so i can keep keep my hands moving n my eye n brain working together.. my class at 4 was cool, it's a quick sketch class, my model is this japanese lady? ugh... she dressed up, and have this small fan with her.. ughh damn! her poses are like the pose of a dragon lady, very viscious mm vicious.. *have not idea how to spell it* anyway, you get the point... but i was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO happy!! i finally got it, it really feels good to be able to get the drawing right the frist time man...
my class is about, quick sketch, so it's not about good good rendering, or nice nice very detailed stuff... it's about, getting the first impression, with stylized lines! and i was so happy that i got it man... hahaa heck yeah!!!

woke up few hrs back! it was certainly a, VERY good n DEEP sleep, but i noticed lately, whenever i sleep, my whole body feels achey... or is it just me, sleeping like a log...
